Pioneer Water Tanks has recently installed a GALAXY™ water storage tank to supply water to a livestock range in Deming, New Mexico.

The owner of the ranch was in need of additional water storage to ensure a reliable water supply for valuable livestock on the property. The Pioneer GALAXY™ range of water storage tanks was a natural choice, providing a quality product, a fast installation, and a solution that met the exact needs of the property.

The chosen tank, a XL 13/02 Pioneer GALAXY™ water storage tank was finished in ZINCALUME™ steel.

The water is pumped into the tank, originally sourced from a well on the ranch, and is held for supplying live-stock in an adjacent yard with a reliable water supply. The tank is equipped with a roof, sealing the tank and improving the quality of the water contained. The roof also ensures that any evaporation losses from the tank are minimised.

The tank was constructed on site and in minimal time, with the owners of the property being very pleased with the installation time, and importantly, with the quality of the finished product.

This particular tank is being reviewed by the New Mexico USDA-NCRS for inclusion in the New Mexico cost share program. The Pioneer GALAXY™ range of water tanks has received approval for USDA-NCRS cost share program in Texas.
